The mission of A Beautiful Mind Training Academy is to bring hope to every client that a better quality of mind IS possible through training and support. That you can have a life worth living no matter your circumstances.

We have all experienced physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual injuries. But there is hope…

There is hope…

…not only to survive, but thrive.

We have all had experiences throughout our lives that have led us to have a lower quality of mind. A mind that feels out of our control. Experiences like natural disasters, fires, car wrecks, malicious acts, discrimination or war. Some have suffered from a life-threatening illness, chronic stress, lost a spouse or a child, or abuse.

I teach you tools to help you OVERCOME insecurities, limiting beliefs, unhealthy coping skills, intrusive and racing thoughts, difficult emotions and memories, negative self-talk, triggers, anxiety, fear, and other mental health difficulties. We work together to learn how to have a healthy brain, live in the present moment, manage stress, and prioritize self-care.

I offer individual coaching both in person and online, as well as group coaching. I utilize techniques used in CBT, REBT, NLP, and instruction from Behavioral Neuroscience, Mindfulness, Meditation and Spirituality.

Here at A Beautiful Mind Training Academy you learn how to retrain your brain so that you can have control over your own thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. To regain control over your own beautiful mind.

From the Owner

My name is Katrina Laurence. I am a Master Mindfulness Coach and the owner of A Beautiful Mind Training Academy. I am trained and experienced in navigating through trauma and mental health difficulties. As your coach, I am able to help you retrain your brain so that you can live the life that you have always desired.

I am NOT a therapist. We focus on the now and the future — What you are experiencing right now, in the present moment, and how you want that to look different.

I have a personal history of mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, intrusive/racing thoughts, and PTSD. I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and sex trafficking. Through many of the techniques that I use in my sessions, I was able to overcome the negative and disrupting emotions that were plaguing me. Not everyone has suffered with being sexually abused. But everyone has suffered.

I know my purpose in this life, and that is to help others. To take my experiences and my passion and teach those who are suffering how to take back control over their own mental health.

No matter the trauma, you CAN overcome your struggles and regain control of your thoughts and emotions. I am here to guide you through your journey. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Remember, you can make today better than yesterday.
